Hello, I’m Melinda Baccanari—a writer, editor, and educator with a passion for writing interesting stories, creating impactful messages, and coaching other writers.

I’ve been blessed to have a broad range of experiences as the spouse of a naval officer. My writing career began with a scuba diving magazine in Florida, where I had the unique opportunity to combine travel, storytelling, and editorial work. After relocating to California, I worked as a promotions manager for a leading academic publisher. Then, getting back to my travel writing roots, I took a job as Managing Editor for a group of RV travel magazines.

Along with a passion for writing, I find it fulfilling to teach others. So I also became an educator, writing coach, and tutor.

Over the years, I’ve contributed feature articles to a wide range of publications and partnered with clients to craft marketing campaigns, web content, and brand messaging.
